I have been told by a FA that single fathers do not have to pay Maintenance, as we don’t have a legal document is this correct?I asked him for his home address but he won’t give to me He says he going to Kinderhof,is a Paternity test a must in SA in order for him to claim parental rights and resposibilities?

  2. Hi please email me a response.
This girl I had a one night stand with is pregnant and has a child, but she recently went to another guy and said it was his, so now she is accusing me of been the father can she force me to do a dna test, or would it be that she must get him to do it 1st since now she claims I’m the dad after he rejected her. What are my rights in this case since I don’t want to be in the dark

  3. What is the husband to do, if peternaty is proven that he is not the father, but he supported the children for a period of 5 or mor years? What is the south african laws view on whether the fathers right to know who the father of the child is, claiming compensation for supporting the children or about custody of the children and maintenance claimed by the mother?
